  • *Distinguished Professor Peter Newman: at Curtin University. He sat on the Board of Infrastructure Australia and is the Co-ordinating Lead Author for Transport on the IPCC. His books include ‘Resilient Cities: Overcoming Fossil Fuel Dependence’ (2017), ‘The End of Automobile Dependence’ (2015), ‘Green Urbanism in Asia’ (2013), ‘Green Urbanism Down Under’ (2009), ‘Sustainability and Cities: Overcoming Automobile Dependence’ which was launched in the White House in 1999 and ‘Cities and Automobile Dependence’ with Jeff Kenworthy in 1989 which has been described as ‘one of the most influential planning books of all time’
  • Associate Professor Martin Anda: Renowned for his contributions to the renewable energy sector, A/Prof. Anda’s insights from the World Renewable Energy Conference (WREC 2022) will illuminate pathways for sustainable change..
  • Associate Professor Mark Diesendorf: With a wealth of experience in energy activism and authorship, A/Prof. Diesendorf’s expertise in sustainable energy solutions will guide attendees towards actionable strategies for combatting climate change.
  • *Dr Roger Hallam: British environmental activist, a co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, an  environmental pressure group, with Gail Bradbrook and Simon Bramwell. He also helped create Just Stop Oil.
  • Simon Fjell: A leader in permaculture and carbon credits, Simon Fjell’s insights into clean energy solutions and climate policy will empower participants to become catalysts for positive environmental change.
  • Fraser Maywood: Spearheading renewable energy adoption in Western Australia, Fraser Maywood’s advocacy for sustainable practices will energize attendees to champion renewable energy initiatives in their communities.
